Future Art Classes

  • Using acrylic paint, various markers and collage, this is a fun way to create!

  • This class will cover the use of acrylic glazes to enhance the richness and depth of a painting.

  • If you’re new to using stencils, I’d like to show you the various ways stencils can be used in your artwork, and even how to create your own unique stencils.

  • This is a fun exercise that the whole family can enjoy! I will show you the various ways tissue can be painted, and how to incorporate it into your mixed media artwork.

  • No two prints can be the same! This class requires a Gelli Plate and various types of paper, including tissue, to make interesting prints, that could be used as collage, or become the artwork itself!

  • This would likely be a three part workshop showing the steps required to make your own unique Wearable Art Earrings!

  • This class is based on designs of the infamous guru of mobiles—Alexander Calder. Fun and light, made with your own unique shapes, materials, etc to create a kinetic mobile sure to give to hours of meditative relaxation.

  • In this workshop I’ll show you the various steps in creating your own unique “Warm Thoughts Mini Art Blocks” from start to finish.

  • This is a workshop to show you various techniques I use in my process of art making that can keep it fun and interesting and/or get you unstuck!

  • This workshop will include the many ways we can create our own collage, and get ideas on some of the possibilities to turn everyday papers into artwork!

  • If you’ve never used a sketchbook before, this is a great start to get you juiced up about what YOU are all about, and a great way to segue into your own art process.

  • This will be a FREE online offering held once a week on Zoom where you can submit your questions or comments about mixed media and thereby create a discussion that will, in turn, help other artists.

  • This class will go over the final steps to finishing and framing your work of art.

  • This will cover the steps required for mounting either a print or an original on paper to a wood substrate.

  • I love painting stones in watercolour—I’ll show you a few simple ways of making your stones shine!

  • Let’s make a personalized 4” x 4” mini art block using mixed media—focusing on composition and style.
